Welcome to Woodford Methodist Pre-School
Woodford Methodist Pre-School provides the development and education of children under statutory school age by offering a safe, friendly and stimulating environment which is sensitive to the needs of all children.
We opened in 1963 and we are managed by a committee of parents. Our Pre-School is held in the church hall of Woodford Methodist Church and we have access to a large hall and classroom. We also have the use of a kitchen, and a large enclosed garden and play area which is accessed from the hall.
We provide sessional childcare for children aged 2 to school age during term time, operating between the hours of 9am to 3pm. We run sessions for both funded and non funded places. The setting also provides support for children who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
Each child is supported by a key worker who will be a point of contact who you can talk to about any concerns or general updates you may have. Our staff are all very approachable and possess high levels of Early Years training.
We work towards the Early Years Foundation Stage and have achieved Bristol Standards Accreditation.
We regularly hold fundraising events which are very popular with the children, parents and staff.
